Google Wants More From Your Business Profile

If there’s one thing Google keeps reminding business owners lately, it’s this: every tiny detail on your profile matters. Google is rolling out a new update showing just how serious they are about having accurate business information, introducing a “Collected Info” section where they can now suggest updates to your profile based on information they find across the web, or even direct communication with your business.

In other words, Google is constantly gathering data and trying to make your profile as complete as possible… whether you’ve updated it yourself or not. This is another clear signal that Google wants businesses providing as much accurate information as possible.
This is a good reminder that fully optimizing your Google Business Profile isn’t one of those “I’ll get around to it eventually” tasks. Every detail on your profile matters more than most business owners realize: services, business description, categories, hours, FAQs, photos, attributes, products, social links… yes, all of it.
